These basket bowls are the perfect gift . Handwoven using strong Chaguar fibers, collected by the indigenous Wichi women of Chaco, Northern Argentina. After harvesting the wild crop, they process the Chaguar using traditional methods that include soaking and drying the fibers for several days, then “spinning” them on their thighs covered with ashes until obtaining the characteristic woven texture. Finally, the Wichi women weave these beautiful basket bowls and handcraft also other pieces for which the Wichis are known.
