Medium basket bowls, handwoven using strong Chaguar fibers, collected by the indigenous Wichi women of Chaco, Northern Argentina. After collecting the crop from the wild, they process the Chaguar using traditional methods that include soaking the harvest and drying the fibers, and then processing them into a weavable texture by “spinning” them on their thighs covered with ashes. Finally, they weave the beautiful basket bowls and craft other pieces for which the Wichi women are known.
